Southernmost spot in the US

Wind turbines along the road to South Point.

This area is fascinating - rolling, grassy, windy, rugged. The water is deep and fast - the current goes straight to Antarctica, uninterrupted. Too deep for anchors, people used to tie their canoes to the shore to get out far enough to fish - otherwise they'd be lost at sea.

Saw a guy spear fishing. He was in a wetsuit, so I guess the water was cold deep down.

Lots of cows and horses along this road. One horse had a bird sitting on it's back. Very neat area. Could spend a lot time there just hanging out.
