Grand Canyon shuttle tour

We are taking the shuttle buses to various points west of Bright Angel. The wind is gusting mightily, I don't think I remember ever being in winds this high. The views are spectacular. At Maricopa Point, you can see a small portion of the Colorado River at the bottom. It's very green, with white parts that must be rapids. We told the kids about rafting trips people take on the Colorado, and Josie said, "That sounds like torture." She is not fond of the winds right now, so I think it is coloring her opinions on everything right now. I think she is afraid we are going to get blown off the edge. :)
