Real camera shots - Zion NP

Zion National Park may have been the nicest surprise of the trip. It was a bit of a crap shoot, as neither Bill nor I had been there before. Bill and I had seen the Grand Canyon together 20 years ago on the driving trip with his Mom. I had seen Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon on my solo trip in 1998. So, other than reading some websites before this trip, neither of us really knew what to expect. Wow, were we ever pleased that we put Zion on our agenda for this tour! A unique and beautiful place, Zion defies a camera's ability to do it justice. Even so, here are some shots from the good camera.
