Hawthorne Lodges, Kenmare

What a sweet little town Kenmare is. We walked it tonight after supper, including down to the harbor. Nice to stretch our legs after a crazy day stuck sitting in an airplane seat most of the time. 

Supper fare came from a pub called O'Donnabhains - delicious. Mitch got sausage and chips. The girls got chicken nuggets and chips (no food adventure points for them tonight), Bill got a panini that looked yummy and that he devoured, Mimi and Papa got fish and chips, and I got bacon and cabbage with a creamy onion parsley sauce and vegetables. The kids and Mimi topped it with ice cream from a shop down the street. I already got myself a souvenir - a red and blue cashmere sweater.
